Neurolinguistic CBT is a new innovation by Endorphin!
It uses Neuroscience of Language to leverage the results of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy. There is now considerable focus on the subtle and intimate interactions of language and emotion, which appear to operate independently and rely on different brain structures.
This takes Neurolinguistic Programming to its next level and brings precise techniques in CBT to self-excellence. The new discipline makes it more grounded in scientific research.
[e.g. The ability to establish, maintain, and recognize personally relevant stimuli (e.g., persons, places) is distinguishable from the processing of unfamiliar stimuli and has an influence on one’s affective state. Study reveals a significant role of the right hemisphere in recognizing personally familiar proper nouns, such as names of famous persons and landmarks.].
We at endorphin are immersed in deeper brain science and go beyond Regular NLP. Neurolinguistics is a specialized branch of study dealing with Neuroscience of Language. It involves multiple regions of the brain which are also connected with various electro-chemical, emotional or cognition centres. We have designed a method to leverage these connections. N - CBT trains you on these very skills. This training will happen only once. Don't miss the opportunity!
Do you know that the 'content' words and the 'function' words are represented differently in our brain?
Neurolinguistic Cognitive Behaviour Techniques has two components. The first is a part of the discipline of Neuroscience of Language. Humans possess a special, innate ability for language and complex syntactic features, such as recursion, are "hard-wired" in the brain.
The second part is derived from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT) and are intended to make behaviour healthier for overall individual development. Since CBT is a talking therapy, use of language in it is of utmost importance!
People often experience thoughts or feelings that reinforce or compound faulty beliefs. Such beliefs can result in problematic behaviours that can affect numerous life areas, including family, romantic relationships, work, and academics. One of the most effective and scientifically proven technique to modify unwanted behaviour is N-CBT. It is based on the idea that the way we think about situations can affect the way we feel and behave. Until now, Cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT) was a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helped patients understand the thoughts and feelings that influenced their behaviours. It has been commonly used to treat a wide range of disorders including phobias, addictions, depression, and anxiety.
On the other hand, some principles of Neuroscience of Language were used by Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) without going deeper into the science.
Endorphin has taken an innovative approach to bring powerful techniques of Neurolinguistics & CBT to help people achieve self-actualization. These techniques make people aware of their thoughts and feelings and enable them to make effective use of the state they are in. This helps them deal with their own past and present.
CBT is also empirically supported and has been shown to effectively help patients overcome a wide variety of maladaptive behaviours. It is important to note that CBT does not just involve identifying the faulty thought patterns; it is focused on using a wide range of strategies to help clients overcome these thoughts. Such strategies may include journaling, role-playing, relaxation techniques, and mental distractions.
